SliQ Invoicing is an in-year MTD For Income Tax product supporting quarterly submissions to HMRC for Self Employed people.

End of year submissions and property businesses are not currently supported.

To submit quarterly updates to HMRC, SliQ provides an easy to use wizard that steps you through authorising SliQ to make submissions on your behalf, getting your obligations from HMRC, viewing your cumulative figures for income and expenses and submitting them.

Register with HMRC for MTD for Income Tax

To submit quarterly updates you first need to sign up to MTD for Income Tax on HMRC's website. You can sign up via this link https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sign-up-your-business-for-making-tax-digital-for-income-tax

Enabling MTD for Income Tax in SliQ Invoicing

To enable the MTD for Income Tax feature in SliQ Invoicing go to the main Setup tab and then select the Business Details subtab.

Check the Enable UK MTD ITSA Submission box. SliQ will then show an extra HMRC filer tab in its top ribbon.

Follow the steps in the wizard to authorise SliQ to make submissions on your behalf, associate the SliQ file with your business then get your current obligations from HMRC and submit updates.
