If you are VAT/ tax registered, you can choose whether the total
column on invoices and quotes includes the tax charged, i.e.
whether a net or gross figure is shown.
To change the setting, display the Template Setup tab under the
main Setup tab.
Press the More Options
button as shown below.

Note: If the
More Options button is disabled, it means that the selected item
preview (invoice, quote, credit note etc.) is for a templates you
have already edited. To change which columns are shown on a custom/
edited template, open the template
editor, click on the columns in the template and choose the
appropriate option in the properties panel on the right..

The Template Options dialog is then displayed.
Check/ uncheck the Show Gross
Amount in Total Column box to show/ hide the column.
Press OK.
